Operations Associate (Work From Home)

We are looking for an Operations Associate to join our team, remotely. The role is in our sourcing and logistics business area and you will be responsible for procurement coordination, documentation, vendor communication and general international trade support. Salary - ₹ 20,000-30,000/month based on your experience

We'd like someone with 1-2 years experience in logistics, e-commerce, consulting or operations but if you've got solid operations exposure elsewhere and want to move into international sourcing, we'll talk.

What you'll be doing:

This is not customer support. This is backend operations. Day to day looks like:

• Coordinating with vendors and following up on pending items
• Coordination of shipments with freight forwarders.
• Talking to our partners in China
• Assistance with customs procedures and paperwork
• Updating trackers and records (we use many of these internally)
• Double check documentation before it is out
• Getting supplier info or market info when we need it
• Chasing people down on email when something is stuck

Honestly the work changes depending on what is live that week - one day you are knee deep in a shipment issue, next day you are chasing a vendor for a quote. If you like the same 9-5 every day, this probably isn’t it.

What we want:

1-2 years in logistics, e-commerce, consulting, operations, or supply chain (any of these is good).

Crafting emails you can stand behind – the real thing, not a template. You’ll be chasing vendors for missing info, following up, confirming things

Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets - nothing fancy, just decent

Be able to look things up on your own when you don't already know the answer

Supply chain or international trade background is a plus, not a must.

Work setup:

Fully remote - work from anywhere in India. You need your own laptop and stable internet, non-negotiable as a lot of coordination happens real-time. As we work with partners overseas, the timing can shift a bit, we try to keep it reasonable but some flexibility helps.

Salary:

₹20,000-30,000/month; the final figure depends on what you bring to the table and how the interview goes. We’ll look at the real numbers and wording before you sign the contract – nothing is set until we’ve talked it over.

• You have some operations experience, if not this exact industry
• Your written English is fine
• You have done documentation/paperwork-intensive work before
• You can do several things at once and not drop the ball
• You like working alone, without someone looking over your shoulder
